1909 KaVo is founded by Alois Kaltenbach in Berlin-Steglitz and soon develops into one of the market leaders in the dental sector.

1919 Richard Voigt joins the still young company, which moves to Potsdam.

1946 A new beginning: KaVo moves its headquarters to Biberach in Upper Swabia, where instrument manufacture can be started again.
