The company has a worldwide distribution network with sales and installations globally. Markets sold to include passenger vessels, large yachts and commercial and government organizations. The company has won awards including the 2005 International ISTIA Award for best new technology for the Superyacht market.

Over the past several years, FarSounder has become known worldwide as the leader and innovator of marine sonar technologies.
